Service Delivery Policy
SewaHome does not ship goods. What you book is a service, carried out by a professional at your address. This page is our shipping and delivery policy.

01No physical shipping
Nothing is couriered and there are no shipping or delivery charges. The service you book is delivered in person, at the address you give, by the professional who accepted your booking.
02Where we deliver services
In and around Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh — addresses within about 60 km of the city centre. A booking for an address outside this area is not accepted, and nothing is charged for it.
03When the professional comes
You choose: Now, or a date and time slot. For Now, nearby professionals are alerted at once and the one who accepts usually reaches you within the hour, depending on distance and traffic. For a slot, the professional arrives within the time you booked. Urgent repairs (within 2 hours) are offered where a professional is free.
04How you know it is on its way
You get a confirmation the moment a professional accepts, with their name and photo, and you can chat or call them through the app. Your booking shows a 4-digit start code; the work is treated as started when the professional enters it at your door, and as delivered when they mark the job complete and you pay.
05If the professional is late or cannot come
They tell you in the chat, and we tell you as soon as we know. You can wait, choose another professional, or cancel at no cost. You are never charged for a visit that did not happen.
06How long the work takes
A repair or installation is usually about an hour per item; time-based help runs for the hours, days or months you booked. The estimate is shown in your booking.
07Spare parts and materials
If a job needs a part, the professional brings it or buys it nearby and shows you the cost before fitting it. You may supply the part yourself.
08Proof of service
Your booking in the app records who came, when the work started and finished, how you paid and the amount. It stays in My Bookings as your receipt.
