Every price on SewaHome is in Indian Rupees and is shown before you book. This page explains what a booking costs and how you can pay.

01The price of a service
Each service lists its own price: per unit for fixed jobs (per AC, per tap, per room), or per hour, per day (8 hours) or per month for time-based help. Professionals can set their own price for a service; the price you see on a professional's card is the price you pay for that professional.
02Fees
A platform fee of ₹29 is added once per booking. An urgent repair (within 2 hours) carries ₹199 extra. There are no other charges from SewaHome, and no shipping or visiting charge unless a service says so on its page.
03Your total
Before you confirm, the booking shows every line — each service and its quantity, the fees and the total. That total is what you pay. Any tax that applies is included in the price shown.
04Spare parts
Parts and materials are not part of the service price unless the service says so. They are charged at actual cost, shown to you before fitting, and can be bought by you instead.
05When you pay
After the work is done. When the professional marks the job complete, you choose how to pay. Nothing is collected in advance unless a booking clearly says so.
06Ways to pay
Cash, paid to the professional. Or online to SewaHome — by UPI, and by cards, net-banking or wallets where our payment gateway offers them. Card and net-banking payments are handled on the payment gateway's own secure page; SewaHome never sees or stores your card details or UPI PIN.
07Receipts
Your booking in My Bookings shows the amount, how you paid and when. Ask Support if you need it by email.
08Refunds
Money paid online for work that did not happen is refunded to the way you paid within 5–7 working days. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
09Stay safe
Pay only the amount shown in your booking. SewaHome and its professionals never ask for an advance by phone, a one-time code, or a payment to a personal number before the visit. If anybody does, do not pay — tell us.
